The Summer Reading Program has started!!

Read at Home:   Sign up at the library, receive a reading log and keep track of the time you read.  Prizes are awarded for every hour and at the end of the program (July 28) winners will be awarded prizes at the pizza party on Thursday July 31 after the program presented by BRUCE WEAVER & FRIENDS.

Weekly activity hours:  Every Thursday morning beginning June 19 thru July 31 there will be stories, games, crafts, and snacks.   The 3-9 year olds' hour will start at 10 A.M. and the 9 and up age group will start at 11 A.M.  Sign up at the library or at the door.  The programs will be held in the Methodist Center next to the library.

The Penn State Coop. Extension will present a program on Caterpillars (June 19):

and on Ladybugs (July 3):

The Draper Family will bring their bees on July 17!!

And, of course, BRUCE WEAVER & FRIENDS will be here again on July 31.

                 book Discussion Club

The book club meets at the library the first Monday of every month at 7 PM.  The book for the July 7, 2008 meeting is: "Middlesex"  by Jeffrey Eugenides.  For more information call the library at 814-367-5411.
