Collection

The library has over 12,900 fiction and non-fiction titles for adults, young adults, and children.

  • Print: Books (including large print), newspapers, magazines, yearbooks, pamphlets, tax forms
     
  • Media: Videos, DVDs, Books-on-tape, Books on CD, and books in MP3-format.
     
  • Rotating collection from the Potter-Tioga Library System: large print books, books-on-tape, and books-on-CD (new titles every three months).
     
  • Rotating DVD collection from James V. Brown Library
     (new titles every other month)
     
  • Genealogy: Free Press Courier/Knoxville newspapers on microfilm, local Westfield history, Liberty Township historical data and census records (1800-1910), records of Leetonia and its people.

Policies

To get a library card, new patrons will have to bring in a valid picture ID with a current address. Residents of other states than Pennsylvania will be charged a one time fee of $ 20.00. Should a library card be lost, replacement will cost $ 1.00.

Lending policy
Library materials may be borrowed for a period of two weeks. They may be renewed for two more weeks at the desk or by phone.
Exceptions are 14 day books. New magazines can only be taken out for one week.

Fines
There will be a 10-cent per day fine for each overdue item.
New patrons will be restricted to the number of items borrowed.
Videos and DVD's may be taken out for three days. New videos/DVD's are charged a donation of $ 1.00. Overdue fines are $ 1.00 per day.

Use of computers
To use any of the library's computer, the patron needs to have a current library card, be in good standing (no fines or overdue books), and sign an internet policy agreement.
Parental consent is required for users under the age of 18.

Food policy
The Library does not allow patrons to eat food or candy, chew gum, drink beverages, chew or smoke tobacco products in the library.

Book Drop
Materials may be returned through the book drop during hours the library is closed.

Donations
Used materials may be donated to the library after discussion with the library director.
Please do not drop books off, there is limited space to store materials.
